ABUJA, Nigeria, April 02 /PRNewswire/ -- Ebok-4, drilled by the Transocean Trident IV jack up drilling unit, was spudded on 24th November 2008. The well reached a Total Depth of 3,838ft measured depth (“md”) on 17th December 2008.

ABUJA, July 1, 2007 -- Oriental Energy Resources Limited, (“Oriental”) today announced that it hasreceived notice of Nigerian government approval of the farm-in by Oriental into the Ebok Marginal Field located in Oil Mining Lease (OML) 67, which is owned by Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited (“Mobil”), a subsidiary of ExxonMobil Corporation, and the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (“NNPC”).

Oriental Star Donated To The Oron Nation
Abuja, 2005 - Oriental Energy Resources Limited has donated a 30 person enclosed water taxi, The Oriental Star, to the Oron Nation for the benefit and use of the peoples of the host communities in Akwa Ibom State. The Communities will run the water taxi on a self sustaining basis.
