Oriental Energy Resources Limited
A Privately Held Nigerian Oil E&P Company
Oriental Energy currently has three assets OML 115, Ebok Field (OML 67) and the Okwok Field (OML 67); all in various stages of appraisal and/or development.
Oriental Energy was founded in 1990 and was granted Block OPL224 offshore Nigeria. In the 25+ years since then, Oriental Energy have converted OPL224 into OML 115 and added Okwok and Ebok assets to their portfolio.
Through aggressive appraisal and drilling programs, the Ebok Field came on production in the 2nd quarter of 2011 which initiated the largest development program for an indigenous and production company to date. Oriental Energy is looking to bring the Okwok Field on production before the end of 2020. Oriental Energy has also developed an offshore production hub and utilizes the Ebok Terminal for the storage and offloading of produced crude oil.
Oriental Energy is a strong supporter of the Nigerian domestic oil industry, adheres to strong ethical EHSS policies and is a considerable contributor to the empowerment of our host communities.
Oriental Energy will continue with the development of its current assets while looking for other opportunities to increase production.
